The shortboard has let us push the boundaries of conventional surfing. Turning quick off the bottom of the wave, snapping off the lip, tight roundhouse cutbacks, floaters and ariels are all now possible.

There are no set dimensions for a shortboard as it fits the surfer’s weight, size and ability. It’s experimenting with size, shape, widths, concaves and thickness that has got us to where the shortboard is today. Most shortboards are designed as thrusters set ups, this 3-fin design allows for both drivy turns and radical snaps. But boards like the fish, fun boards, retro boards all encourage fin experimentation.
