Established in 1995, the Surfworx label was created to offer cutting edge surfboard shapes and designs and a professional glassing and finishing service to the industry and public.

UK shapers such as John Purton, Matt Barrow, Chris Harris and Matt Adam have all helped and benefited from our finishing service which prides itself upon the simple ‘quality not quantity’ ethic.

Word of mouth as the UK’s up and coming surf manufacturer has helped us to sponsor surfers such as Mark ‘EGOR’ Harris, Ben Baird, Jamie Owen, Grishka Roberts and Lee Williams. Also supplying boards for Oli Adams, Josh Knowles, Russ Mullins and top 44 UK surfer Russell Winter, who went on to win the WQS Ripcurl Newquay Boardmasters 2002 on one of our boards.

It is the feedback we receive from these surfers along with our customers, which has enabled us to stay at the cutting edge of surfboard design and manufacture but also led to the growth of Surfworx surfboards as a label in its own right.

Working out of Newquay our doorstep (Cornwall) is both a breeding ground for surfing talent as well as the home of UK surfboard based design and manufacture.
